A very few manage to get into the industry and of the few that do, most struggle on for a year or two and then fade from the scene. Once in a blue moon, one succeeds and is able to make himself a new life in Africa.

When I was 22 years old, through an amazing stroke of good fortune, I was invited on my first African hunting safari. Looking back, it was very small beer to what came after and I'll never forget that trip. It also got me started, introduced me to the people who were able to guide me in the right direction and advise me on what and who to avoid and it led me to a life and a lifestyle that I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams!
